You’ll be the go-to person for our customers—measuring parts, ordering technical components and keeping the shop ticking over. Key Responsibilities: Providing positive and friendly customer service to all customers whether spending $1 or $1000 Accurately processing transactions via POS. Measuring and ordering parts accurately and occasional steel cutting to size for small orders. Managing stock replenishment and rotation. Ordering specific replacement parts and maintaining a tidy, efficient store. What You’ll Need: A proactive, positive and friendly customer-first approach. Competent with numeracy and computers. We are seeking a reliable, practical, and flexible team member to join our busy transport operation in a Handyman/Fleet Support/Charter Driver role. This position involves basic fleet maintenance, including tyre checks, replacing wipers and bulbs, jump-starting vehicles, and transporting buses to service agents or COF inspections. The role also includes backup driving for MOE school runs and charter work when required. It will suit someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. The successful applicant must be flexible and willing to work weekends, late nights, and occasional overnight trips out of town, when required for charter work. Applicants must hold a Class 4 licence with P endorsement, have good practical skills, and be comfortable working around large vehicles. Previous experience driving tag axle vehicles would be an advantage. Employment is subject to police vetting, pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing. 40-45 hours per week (with extra hours available during busy charter periods).
