About the Role This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on tractor driving and machinery operation across our large cherry orchards. You’ll help keep our orchards running smoothly — from mowing, spraying, and towing cherry bins, to assisting with general orchard work when required. What You’ll Be Doing Operating orchard tractors, mowers, sprayers, and trailers in line with safe work practices. Carrying out daily machinery checks and minor maintenance. Supporting orchard operations such as pruning, irrigation, bird netting, and harvest preparation. Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. What We’re Looking For Previous experience operating tractors, farm vehicles, or machinery (essential). GrowSafe Certificate (desirable). Mechanically minded and confident working independently. Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all conditions. Positive attitude, great teamwork, and attention to detail. Full or restricted NZ driver’s licence (tractor endorsement an advantage).
