We are currently looking for a skilled Excavator Foreperson and a Class 5 Driver to join our team in Balclutha. The roles will involve road maintenance activities such as pavement repairs and drainage improvements under our current Clutha District Council maintenance contract, as well as earthworks and siteworks for our numerous other clients throughout the region.

Ideally, you will have 3+ years’ experience in civil construction/road maintenance roles, and experience of being responsible for people and plant operations. What we are really looking for are people with a hardworking, 'can-do' attitude, and who are willing to get stuck in and get the job done.

The people we are looking for should:

• have previous experience in the civil contracting industry
• be able to look after and maintain plant and machinery
• be tidy, energetic and enthusiastic, with good communication skills
• the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• happy working in a team environment as well as without supervision
• hold the appropriate licences and endorsements
