Accounts and Administration

Air Milford is a Queenstown based, family owned and operated scenic flight company. Our focus is offering an unparalleled premium service to international and domestic tourists. This accounts position includes the day to day book keeping of the company, while also providing additional support to our Flight Coordinators in front office when required. The role is typically completed in 18-20 hours per week (approx. 3 days), however 
there is the opportunity for more hours for the right person.

We are looking for applicants with:

  • Excellent communication skills – face to face, verbal & written English.
  • Familiar with Xero, crystal payroll and excel.
  • Accounts receivable, accounts payable, wages, GST.
  • Management accounts for 3 entities.
  • A meticulous level of accuracy & attention to details.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Confident computer skills.
  • A passion to actively contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Ability to multi-task in a small office environment.
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ.
  • Preferred candidate is a local resident.
  • Valid & clean NZ driver’s licence.
  • A positive attitude, enjoys working in a fast paced environment with others and having fun in this dynamic and exhilarating industry.
  • Accounting qualification is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will have a close relationship with Deloittes who prepare our final accounts.
