Animal Facility Technician
We are seeking an animal facility technician to join the team at the Manaaki Whenua-Landcare Research Animal Facility to help care for captive wild-caught and laboratory animals.
It involves the daily care of animals (feeding and cleaning) on weekends and public holidays including over the Christmas period. The position is permanent, part-time (four to six hours
per week) and is based at our Lincoln site.
This role requires a diligent, responsible person who is comfortable carrying out daily husbandry tasks for multiple animal species. You will have experience of working with animals and an interest in animal research, animal care, and pest control.
