Description

We are looking for an Animal Support Officer, to join the Gore District Council Regulatory team. The successful applicant will provide after-hours services for animal control functions.

The key attributes we need:

• Must be a people person and be able to relate to customers in a professional manner.
• A knowledge and/or certification in animal welfare practices desirable but not essential.
• Personal Attributes – Strong communication and customer service skills, show initiative, be well organised and self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Be physically fit to manage and restrain animals.

This position is to provide after hours, including weekend services and some public holidays.
