Clutha Health Trust is seeking applicants from the community 
in contributing to the governance and future direction of health  services within the Clutha District.

The Trust is responsible for supporting and strengthening 
local health services and is committed to strong governance, 
community connection and sustainable health outcomes.

The Board is seeking candidates who can contribute a mix of 
skills, experience and perspectives, including:

• Governance and strategic leadership capability
• Financial literacy and sound judgement
• Effective communication and collaborative leadership
• Understanding of the health sector and community health needs
• Strong community connection within the Clutha District
• Commitment to collective decision-making and integrity of governance

Applicants should be residents in the Clutha District and over 
18 years of age.

Trustees are expected to:

• Attend regular Board meetings and governance workshop
• Participate constructively in Board discussions and  
   decision-making
• Maintain high standards of governance and ethical conduct
• Support the long-term strategic direction of Clutha Health Trust
