The Otago Rugby Football Union (ORFU) is the governing body for rugby in the Otago province, which has a long history of being one of the premier rugby provinces in the country, focusing on and promoting the game of rugby along with providing rugby opportunities for all within our province.
Applications are invited for two Directors to be appointed for a three year term to the Board of the ORFU. Based on the current Board composition, the ideal skill sets being sought collectively across the two positions would be; accounting and ?nance, marketing and generating commercial revenue. The two positions have become vacant by way of rotation, with the incumbents retiring at the next Annual General Meeting in March 2019.
Applicants should also possess proven experience and success as either a Director or Senior Executive level, and must demonstrate a passion to advance the interests of rugby in Otago. The independent appointment panel will also be embracing the importance of diversity ensuring the Board has the skill sets to oversee all facets and needs of the modern rugby/sporting environment.
