community?  

Lighthouse Southland is a specialist family violence agency who provides a range of services to achieve our vision of a community where people feel safe and valued.  

Based in Invercargill, we are looking for casual facilitators 
who will be trained up to co-facilitate non-violence group 
programmes on a rostered basis.  

This role could complement work that you are already doing, or you might be a semi-retired professional looking for an opportunity to continue to share your skills and experiences with our community. 

We seek applicants with:   

• Knowledge and understanding of family violence and its effects, including trauma  
• Ability to engage and build rapport with men who have used violence and been affected by family violence  
• Able to work in a culturally respectful and responsive way  
• Experience in a relevant field, such as counselling, social work or other related community service (desirable)  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
