Child Counsellor/Therapist
Applications are invited for a child counsellor/therapist/social
worker for one day per week. This is a maternity cover position
for 2026.
The Gore Counselling Centre is a community based Trust and
our team of six counsellors provide a range of services.
The preferred applicant will:
- have a counselling or social work qualification or be working towards one
- have the ability to work well in a team
- be skilled in working with children
- communicate well with staff from other social agencies in
our community - a sound working knowledge of the Te Tiriti O Waitangi
