Aspiring Medical Centre is based in picturesque Wanaka. We provide medical care for approximately 7500 registered patients and also to the visitors to our town who are unwell or have had an accident.  

Aspiring Medical has a close-knit team of around 35 and strive daily to achieve our mission of being a caring team who deliver the highest quality medical services.

With the departure of our legendary Clinical Nurse Manager 
after two decades of service, we are seeking a passionate and 
experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role will oversee clinical operations, cornerstone accreditation, provide clinical guidance, and manage resources to optimise patient flow and team performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, strong experience in managing a clinical quality framework, and excellent communication skills. 

This role is permanent fulltime hours; however we will consider 
applications from between 0.8FTE to fulltime for the right candidate.

Mohou Ake | About You

• Extensive leadership in primary health care 
• Experience in clinical and operational leadership
• Experience in staff coaching, performance, rostering and 
  management
• Familiar with the requirements for Cornerstone accreditation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with Medtech Evolution
• You must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19
