MainPower is convening a Customer Advisory Panel to help shape the future of our business and community, and how we can better serve our customers and shareholders.

We’re looking for up to 12 individuals from across our network – including Kainga/Stewarts Gully, Waimakariri, Hurunui and Kaikoura – who are willing to give around two hours of their time, 4-5 times a year. If you have an interest in electricity and energy, great. If you have deep community connections, brilliant. If you’re just keen to try something new and be a part of shaping our network for the future, even better.

What kinds of things are we looking for feedback on?

• How should we balance maintenance of our network and future needs?
• How is energy use changing in your life?
• What can we do to better support our customers in your energy journeys?
• What are the key issues facing you and your community around energy?
• Where should we best be focussing our sponsorship efforts?

We welcome applications from any MainPower customer who is passionate about their community, lives or works on our network and is keen to contribute to meaningful discussions about electricity distribution, customer service and community engagement.

Note, this is a voluntary position, but we are legendary for our catering. A koha for personal costs will be made available for each session attended.
