Director Appointment
The Trustees are seeking expressions of interest from prospective candidates for the vacancy which will occur on the Board of The Power Company Limited as a result of a director retiring by rotation.
The Power Company Limited is a lines distribution business that distributes electricity to 38,000 consumers in rural Southland. Through its OtagoNet subsidiary it distributes electricity to another 15,000 consumers in East, West and South Otago. It owns 100% of PowerNet, an electricity management company that also has a large contracting division.
Preference will be given to candidates with the following attributes:
- Governance Experience
- Commercial Background
- Contracting/Engineering/Project Management Background
