There are a couple of vacancies in our maintenance team. 1) working on the Dayshift 07:30 am to 4:30 pm or 2) the afternoon shift  4.00pm – 1.00am, both Mon – Fri. 

We are seeking two motivated and skilled engineers to join our team at our Oamaru textile manufacturing plant. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment where quality, safety, and innovation are at the forefront.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support across the plant to ensure efficient production and minimal downtime.
• Maintain and improve plant machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support continuous improvement projects to increase 
  productivity, safety, and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and health & safety teams to meet operational targets.

About You:

• Engineering qualification (mechanical, or related discipline).
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (textiles an advantage, but not essential).
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to health & safety and continuous improvement.
