The Wanaka A&P Show is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Financial Officer to join our small, dynamic management team. This is a permanent, part-time role (around 15 hours per week), with flexibility - particularly in the lead-up to and during showtime.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly and accurately, ensuring the continued success of one of the South Island’s largest community events.

What you’ll bring:

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GST, payroll, accounts receivable and payable
• Proven ability to maintain accurate, timely financial records and reporting
• Experience with annual and monthly reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external partners
• Recognised accounting qualifications
