About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to oversee the operations of three Waimate kindergartens. This role involves supporting high-quality early childhood education, leading staff, and ensuring effective day-to-day management. Hours negotiable.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and support teaching teams to deliver quality early childhood education. 
• Maintain a positive culture for staff, children, and families. 
• Ensure compliance with New Zealand ECE regulations and Te Whariki. 
• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities. 
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community. 
• Support ongoing quality improvement and best practice across the kindergartens.

Skills & Experience 

• Leadership experience in early childhood education. 
• Knowledge of Te Whariki and the NZ ECE sector. 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
