at Mountainview High School as a Guidance Counsellor.

This role will involve working with students to support their wellbeing and mental health. Providing guidance and confidential counselling. Liaising with staff, whanau and external providers, as necessary, as well as administration and reporting. Confidentiality and communication are vital to ensure this role is successful.

This role is part time, with hours to be negotiated. A job description is available upon request.  

The preferred candidate would be a member of a registered body such as the New Zealand Association of Counsellors.   Police vetting is required.  A Post-Graduate Diploma or Masters 
in Counselling are preferred, but also open to considering Social Worker qualifications.
