Health & Wellbeing Coordinator

(Part-Time)

Location:  Arrowtown Lifestyle Village
Hours:  8–12 hours per week (initially)

Arrowtown Lifestyle Village is seeking a compassionate and experienced Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to support our residents. You will play an important part in helping residents access the services they need while maintaining the vibrant and independent lifestyle they value. 

This is a rewarding part-time role, ideal for someone with a nursing background.

About the Role  

Working closely with residents, village staff, healthcare providers, and families, you will:

  • Build professional and trusting relationships with residents and, when appropriate, their families.
  • Recognise changes in health, wellbeing, and support needs, and make appropriate referrals. 
  • Coordinate Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) processes.
  • Help residents and families navigate transitions from independent living to care options when required. 
  • Organise health and wellbeing education sessions for residents. 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A nursing background and experience working with older persons health. 
  • A strong understanding of the New Zealand healthcare system and referral pathways including needs assessment processes. 
  • Knowledge of community services, support agencies, and resources available to seniors. 
  • A compassionate, approachable, and proactive nature.
