We are seeking a HomeShare Host Contractor to support the Enliven HomeShare service in Ashburton.  This role involves twice-monthly service delivery, totalling approximately 8 
hours per month, delivered over two separate fortnightly sessions. 

The purpose of the HomeShare Host role is to support older people who may require social opportunities to connect with others, promoting overall health and wellbeing. 

This is an independent contractor role, with support provided by the Enliven HomeShare Coordinator.  The Host, within their own home, will offer a welcoming environment where a small group of clients can socialise, participate in activities, and enjoy a home-cooked meal together. 

The role includes some record keeping, with training opportunities provided to support an understanding of current best practice in service delivery.  Ongoing communication and collaboration with the coordinator is essential to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive HomeShare experience for all involved.   
We are looking for someone who has a minimum of two years' experience working with or supporting older people in a health 
and wellbeing setting.  Someone who can build rapport and respond to individual needs in a respectful and compassionate way.
