Member Services Administrator

Destination Queenstown and Lake Wanaka Tourism are the 
regional tourism organisations responsible for positioning 
Queenstown and Wanaka as world-class regions striving to be 
leaders in regenerative tourism.

We’re looking for a proactive and service-focused Member Services Administrator to support our members and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our Queenstown and Wanaka offices. Based in Queenstown, this full-time role sits within the Organisation team and reports to the GM HR & Administration.

You will be responsible for supporting member onboarding and 
website listings, championing our CRM, and implementing sustainable operational practices. As the central point of contact for staff and members, you’ll provide dynamic and responsive support, helping us deliver an outstanding member experience and maintain a professional, welcoming office environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing and supporting new member applications and onboarding
  • Assisting members with communications and website listings
  • Coordinating member updates, meetings, and events (including logistics and RSVPs)
  • Managing the member database (CRM) and supporting best practice usage
  • Championing office sustainability initiatives and supporting annual audits
  • Providing administrative support to the GM HR & Administration and wider team
  • Managing office supplies, general enquiries, and maintaining a high standard office environment
  • Supporting health & safety compliance and acting as fire warden

We’re looking for someone with:

  • A strong interest in the tourism industry
  • Experience in administration, office management (tourism industry a plus)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A passion for the Queenstown Lakes region and a commitment to our values: Stay True, All In, and Have Fun
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, CRM systems)
  • A collaborative, positive approach and willingness to support others
