Maruawai College is seeking an enthusiastic and practical Food 
Technology teacher to join our Senior Campus team in a part-
time (0.6) role.

This position would suit either:

• a registered teacher, or
• someone with strong food technology skills, hospitality 
  experience, or a related industry background who is interested in working with young people.

Our Food Technology programme is hands-on, skills-focused, 
and designed to build students’ confidence for life beyond school. 

We value real-world experience, positive learning relationships, 
and a calm, supportive classroom environment.

The ideal applicant will:

• Enjoy working with young people
• Bring practical food or hospitality knowledge
• Be organised, reliable, and safety-focused
• Work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team

Hours are 15 per week, making this an ideal opportunity to 
combine work with other commitments.

A school house is available if required.
