Hospice South Canterbury has a vacancy for the joint role of 
Quality Assurance Coordinator and Health and Safety Officer.

This is a permanent part time position of up to 20 hours a week. The hours within the week are flexible to suit the applicant.

While a background in the health sector is an advantage, it is 
not essential.

The key tasks are:

• To actively promote, monitor and maintain standards relating to quality clinical practice within the hospice service. 
• To develop, manage and maintain the Clinical Policies, 
  Procedures and Guidelines framework. 
• To encourage clinical improvement and minimisation of 
  risk.
• To develop the culture of safe working practices and a 
  proactive approach to the management of Health and 
  Safety across all operations.
