We’re looking for a skilled communicator who will provide support to migrant and former refugee students and their families within our cluster network of schools as they start their New Zealand education journey.

You will need to hold a relevant tertiary qualification, eg, education, social work, community development, or a related field, and you will need to demonstrate experience in the education sector.

Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate significant experience in these key areas:

• Proven experience in a community liaison or similar role
• Experience in organising, facilitating and managing multi-stakeholder meetings
• Familiarity with the New Zealand school system, enrolment procedure and policies
• Strong skills in inter-cultural communication
• Experience in leading, mentoring or supervision a small team or group of staff/volunteers

Fixed term for the 2026 school year - 15 hours per week, term-time only.
