Uruuruwhenua Hauora is a kaupapa Maori health and social 
service provider delivering whanau-centred care across Central 
Otago. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social 
Worker to join our team in Alexandra.

This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on social work 
practice with leadership, supporting tangata whai ora and whanau to achieve improved wellbeing outcomes.

About the Role

• Provide holistic, whanau-centred social work support
• Work across community, outreach and clinic-based services
• Deliver culturally grounded practice aligned to Te Ao Maori
• Contribute to service leadership and development
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and wider community providers 

About You

• Registered Social Worker (or working towards registration)
• Strong understanding of kaupapa Maori and whanau ora 
  approaches
• Experience working with diverse and complex needs
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Passion for improving outcomes for Maori and addressing 
  inequities
