Maruawai College is seeking a reliable and practical Sports & Facilities Assistant to support our Health & Physical Education department for approximately 7 hours per week (flexible working hours).

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up equipment for Physical Education lessons and events
• Maintaining, cleaning, and safely storing sports gear
• Checking equipment condition and arranging repairs as 
  needed
• Assisting with the set-up and pack-down of gym, courts, 
  and fields
• Keeping storage areas and the gear shed organised and 
  tidy
• Supporting staff with general preparation and sporting 
  events

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, and able to work independently. Practical skills and an interest in sport or working in a school environment would be an advantage.
