WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER

(Oamaru Based)

This role is a key driving force in ensuring our 3 business
units receive the correct amount of product, on time and with
exceptional service.

As the internal service provider, you’ll work with your team to
deliver seamless assistance to our customers and own sites
across New Zealand. To be successful in this role, you must be comfortable working on the ?oor and carrying out supervisory tasks including:

  • Leading and supporting a small operational team in the
    warehouse/factory
  • Setting daily, weekly and monthly targets for the team
  • Assist in Stock control, reporting and document control for the Warehouse
  • Organise and coordinate orders and dispatching for
    materials
  • Working with a Lean methodology mind-set
    Delegating tasks and ensuring you’re supporting the wider team where possible

About You

You’ll bring experience in Warehousing & Logistics, and with
your high energy, fast communication, determination and
can do attitude, you’ll transition with ease into this position,
enhancing productivity, and driving performance.

Alongside this, you’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, and the ability to lead from the front
  • Pro?ciency in the MS Suite + reporting capability
  • Ability to work at pace, and drive productivity
  • A high level of organisation, which is systematic and
    disciplined
  • A strong interest in continuous improvement
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships
  • Full NZ Drivers License & Forklift License
