About the role:

Reporting to the Chief Executive, this executive leadership position is responsible for leading a small proactive team and ensuring the continued seamless performance of all information technology systems necessary to support the business.

As Chief Information Technology Officer, you will be responsible for all digital and technology assets across Allied Media. This includes ensuring the business has effective and efficient digital capability and data insight to support current and future products and services. As part of the senior management team, you will provide leadership across strategic and operational matters in information technology, systems, digital services, security, governance and policy.

With a focus on leadership, IT asset management, risk mitigation and project management, you will be expected to implement, champion and maintain the continued functionality of all IT systems. Whilst keeping abreast with new technologies, you will develop and lead technology strategy, oversee 
business improvement and technology-related projects, and ensure systems and infrastructure remain reliable and available.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hold a tertiary qualification in Information Technology. 
• Have proven leadership experience and the ability to lead and support a small proactive team
• Strong experience in IT operations, systems management and technology asset oversight
• Sound understanding of information security, governance, risk mitigation and business continuity
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and staff at all levels
• A forward-thinking and innovative approach
• A background in project management is desirable but not essential
