Maruawai College is seeking a reliable and skilled Woodwork 
Technician to support our Technology department for 10 hours per week (2 hours per day).

Key responsibilities

• Sharpening, maintaining, and safely storing workshop tools
• Preparing materials and resources for the day’s woodwork classes
• Ensuring machinery and equipment remain in safe working condition
• Maintaining a tidy, organised workshop environment
• Assisting teaching staff with general preparation as required

The ideal candidate will have practical skills in tool use and 
maintenance, enjoy working in a school environment, and be 
committed to supporting safe workshop practices. Previous 
experience in woodwork, trades, or technology support is an 
advantage but not essential.
