Battlefront is back, and it's under development by the team that's known for the Battlefield franchise. With Electronic Arts' acquisition of the Star Wars license, the publisher has decided that their EA DICE studio would be best set working on none other than Star Wars: Battlefront. Rebooting the franchise after 10 years won't be easy, but with their experience on Battlefield there's no studio better prepared for it. Unfortunately very little is known about Star Wars Battlefront at this time beyond that it will run on EA's Frostbite 3 engine and that it will be released holiday 2015. Beyond that, just two maps have been teased: one taking place on Hoth and the other on Endor. Whether or not Star Wars: Battlefront will tie in with the upcoming Star Wars VII film or not is yet to be confirmed.
