This third-person survival horror title may not be breaking any new ground, but it should at least reinvigorate all those old time-y feelings that drove a decade of survival horror games. The Evil Within tells the story of Detective Sebastian Castellanos as he encounters a mysterious and powerful supernatural force. Investigating a call for back-up at Beacon Mental Hospital, Castellanos discovers that all of the first officers to report on-scene have disappeared. More than that, a mad-man in a white hood appears to be on the loose. After being knocked out, Castellanos awakens in what can only be considered to be a living nightmare. He doesn't know the half of it...
