Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a standalone Resident Evil game which is split into different scenarios based on previous games. The game explores the role of the Umbrella Corporation in the world of Resident Evil and the viruses they've created. The first three scenarios are set in Raccoon City and follow several operatives as they perform reseach, complete missions and fight to escape the humans who have been mutated by viruses. It also includes characters such as Chris Redfield who was the protagonist in some other Resident Evil games. The final scenario is a new story that follows Chris Redfield as he investigates the Umbrella Corporation in Russia. The game was developed by Capcom and Cavia before being published in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii. It was later released for the PlayStation 3 as part of the Resident Evil Chronicles HD Collection. Variety of weapons – Collect and use different weapons throughout the game Quick Time Events – React quickly to complete the button sequence and avoid danger Destructible Objects – Almost everything on the levels can be destroyed and might hide some useful items Ranking System – Replay levels to get a rank at the end of it Co-op – Fight beside a second player to complete missions together
