Dealer Stock No : 1959TR All features:1959 250 TR Representation <br/><br/>This is a tool room replica of one of the two 1959 Ferrari Testa Rossa factory team cars.<br/><br/>Commissioned to Auto Restorations here in Christchurch, this re-creation was built with no set budget or timeline. <br/>The tube chassis, the suspension and the hand-formed body were all constructed in-house from blueprints and drawings. Aside from housing a more modern and slightly more attainable Ferrari Tipo F116B/C Engine from a 456 (along with its matching gearbox), the car was entirely assembled with genuine Ferrari parts, parts from original suppliers or where this was not possible; items were painstakingly handmade to original specifications. Everywhere it was possible, it was made correct to the original.<br/><br/>The fitments are all period correct. The headlights are Carrillo, the wire wheels are Borrani, the disc-brakes – Dunlop. The suspension is setup exactly as the team cars too, with independent wishbone suspension, coil over shock absorbers and a de Dion dead axle. Even the modern engine has been masterfully backdated to perform and resemble the correct powertrain.
