What is Nissan Note E-POWER? The Nissan Note e-POWER is a unique hybrid. The wheels are solely driven by an electric motor, making its core function like an electric vehicle (EV). Unlike regular EVs, it has a gasoline engine, but not to drive the wheels. This engine acts as a generator, producing electricity. The system includes a small battery. While driving, the motor uses battery power. When the battery's charge drops, the gasoline engine starts, generating electricity to power the motor or recharge the battery. Benefits? It offers the smoothness of electric drive without range anxiety: just refill the gas to keep going. Plus, it can be more fuel-efficient.
