We are growing our Contracting team and have exciting new roles on the team to help us deliver a wider range of services.


Key Tasks

Undertake a wide range of electrical installation, testing and maintenance of network equipment including underground distribution systems, distribution substations, switching stations, zone substation and customer assets whilst ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

How do you line up? We need

  • National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4) or
    assessed equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Electrical Fitter with experience in substation and distribution equipment
  • Good knowledge of electrical maintenance requirements of Electrical Distribution, switching station and substation assets up to and including 33kV. Relevant standards, regulations, codes of practice and Safety Manual Electrical Industry (SMEI) parts 1 – 3.
  • Compliance with agreed health and safety processes and procedures, identifying hazards and controlling risk to ensure everyone goes home safely each day.


Key Tasks

  • Assist with electrical installation, testing and maintenance of network equipment, learning your trade from experienced Electrical Fitters
  • Actively work towards obtaining the required electrical
    qualification - National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4).

Both roles require:

  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Familiar with common software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and mobile technology
  • High standard of verbal and written communication.
  • Able bodied and physically fit to complete duties safely,
    including compliance with our Drug and Alcohol policy.
