The right applicant needs to be able to join our team and be a keen and self-motivated individual that can work with others as well as being able to productively work alone.

You will need to be a very clear and effective communicator and able to organise yourself to complete delegated work to a require high standard.

An Excellent track record of attendance and reliability is essential and there are also Overtime opportunities as well.

Flexibility to be able to work Afternoon Shift’s 3:30pm to Midnight is a requirement of the role. There is a shift allowance applied to this.

Our Oceania Dairy division is currently seeking ?xed term Milk Tanker drivers to collect milk through the peak milk period which will ?nish up approximately January 2021. You will be part of a team collecting milk from farms within the area surrounding Glenavy (South Canterbury and North Otago) and delivering to

The position works a rotating roster of 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days o?. Normal work hours begin at 7am for day shift, and 5pm for night shift.

Key Tasks

Undertake a wide range of electrical installation, testing and maintenance of network equipment including underground distribution systems, distribution substations, switching stations, zone substation and customer assets whilst ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

How do you line up? We need

  • National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4) or
    assessed equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Electrical Fitter with experience in substation and distribution equipment
  • Good knowledge of electrical maintenance requirements of Electrical Distribution, switching station and substation assets up to and including 33kV. Relevant standards, regulations, codes of practice and Safety Manual Electrical Industry (SMEI) parts 1 – 3.
  • Compliance with agreed health and safety processes and procedures, identifying hazards and controlling risk to ensure everyone goes home safely each day.


Key Tasks

  • Assist with electrical installation, testing and maintenance of network equipment, learning your trade from experienced Electrical Fitters
  • Actively work towards obtaining the required electrical
    qualification - National Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Level 4).

Both roles require:

  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Familiar with common software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and mobile technology
  • High standard of verbal and written communication.
  • Able bodied and physically fit to complete duties safely,
    including compliance with our Drug and Alcohol policy.

Our Property team is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Property Assets Officer to undertake a variety of work involving property management, asset management, asset data improvement and professional technical property advice to ensure efficient and effective delivery of property services to the community.

Based in our Oamaru office, the Property Assets Officer plays a critical role in ensuring we maximise the use of our investments by establishing long term maintenance programmes and planning for the sustainable replacement of assets. This Property Assets Officer also ensures the most appropriate return on property interests whilst balancing commercial interests, income generation and social responsibilities to provide affordable facilities for the benefit of the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent in asset management, project management or property related field
  • At least 3-5 years' successful experience in a property or asset-related industry
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, based on a sound understanding of risk management principles
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, engagement, and relationship management skills
