North Otago Sustainable Land Management Group (NOSLaM) ‘Collectively enhancing North Otago’s Land, Water and Community Resources’ An opportunity has arisen for the role of Co-ordinator/Facilitator, 20 hours per week on a 12-month ?xed-term contract. This role will see you as the key driver in a new way forward and land and water management throughout North Otago. NOSLaM’s goal is to work collaboratively alongside North Otago farmers, community stakeholders, District and Regional Council biodiversity and water quality teams, irrigation experts and scientists, to ensure that our land owners and communities are engaging in good practice around land and water management. Speci?cally, the role sees you working with the NOSLaM committee to manage the portfolio of local farmer pods. You will be responsible for gathering and disseminating data, organising and facilitating farmer meetings and general administration duties. To be considered for this role you must be well organised, have excellent communication and networking skills, an empathy with the rural community and a passion for making a difference. An understanding of land and water management practices would be of bene?t. You will also need the ?exibility to attend meetings outside normal of?ce hours and have your own transport. Lifeguards and Swim Teachers
